| Wicker, a weaving technique using rattan round-core sized from the large rattan palm, is the tradition of skill passed on for generations. Soft, flexible, yet tough, tightly weaved or woven together over a rattan or wood frame then skillfully formed into Furniture, Casegoods, Interior Accessories and Baskets. The size of the round core, from 3/16" - 3/8" diameter, as well as the quality of the rattan will determine the strength of the structure and design characteristics. The outer skin is peeled off, hand-sanded, rubbed, stained, then sealed with a clear coat. Over forty finishes, including Whitewash, Fruitwood, Natural and Antique Whitewash, will capture any special effect to compliment your room.
Select any well-known Designer Fabric or C.O.M. to accent your custom wicker furniture. Cushions, upholstery, or throw pillows are professionally tailored in our own workroom, to your specifications ~~ just the way you want! Only premium quality U.S. polyeurothane foams, wrapped in dacron, and polyfill back cushions are used. Special options such as down cushions, inner-springs, etc. are available upon request.
